1. Educate yourself.
Know that the same human brain that dumps adrenaline has the same to potential to dump happy hormones such as serotonin, endorphins, and dopamine.
2. Be truthful.
Draw into the truth of the actual experience, not your creative stories about how dreadful it is. When you wash the dishes, feel the warm water. See the suds. Smell the dish soap. Pick up a cup and plate. Lift the cup into the drain board



3. Tell yourself that you’re going to have a fresh start



Here are the 5 simple steps:

1. At the end of each workday, write down the six most important things you need to accomplish tomorrow. Do not write down more than six tasks.

2. Order those six tasks by importance

3. The next day, concentrate only on the first task. Don‘t move to the second task until you finished the first one.


4. Repeat the process throughout the day. When the day is over, move unfinished items to a new list of six tasks for the next day.


5. Rinse and repeat.





  • Ask for help if you need it. Sometimes you might find yourself procrastinating because you’ve encountered a difficulty, such as a hard task or a lack of resources. When this happens, ask for help! Everyone needs help sometimes.

  • Take control over your own schedule. People and other responsibilities will demand parts of your time. It’s up to you to balance your schedule to ensure that you have time for everything

  • Avoid overthinking about your work and goals. Thinking too much can actually be counterproductive for two reasons. First, it keeps you in your head, preventing you from taking action. Second, it results in you thinking up possible problems that will likely never come to pass

  • Spend time working on your goal every day. When you’re actively working toward your goal

  • Do something you enjoy every day. Even working toward something you love can feel overwhelming, so take time for yourself. Spend at least a few minutes everyday treating yourself to something you love

  • Track your progress. Seeing how far you’ve come can be a huge motivator! Keep track of all of your accomplishments, both great and small.

  • Create an action plan for your goals. You can create an overall plan to reach your big goal, or you can narrow it down to your small goals.

  • Connect with others who share your goals. Make friends who are on a similar journey as you, or join a group for like-minded individuals. They can be awesome motivators to stay on track, and they may even have useful advice for times when you’re struggling.

Use positive self-talk. Everyone has an internal voice, and it’s not always friendly. Turning that voice toward the positive, however, can change your life for the better. 


Stay positive

Nobody likes having a conversation about how poorly they've done. It's true that expecting nothing but rainbows and sunshine all day every day is a bit unrealistic, but even those of us with "thick skin" have a tolerance threshold for negativity.

Take regular breaks

You can't expect to maintain workplace motivation when everyone's burned out — that's why it's so important to take regular breaks.

You say you have a clear goal, but if you're struggling to get motivated to achieve it, then it may not be very clear.



 Plan each day
Before going to bed, spend 15 minutes for creating a to-do list. You should write down goals and priorities for the next day there. You may also draw a little star, for example, next to tasks that need to be done.
